To my amazing mom, Marietta. She is a 5 year survivor of stage III ovarian cancer! She is an inspiration to us all and touches the life of everyone she meets.

Personal Story

My mother is amazing! That is the description most often used when people get to meet her. She is beautiful, loving, caring, and compassionate and an incredible role model. She never once complained during her treatment and always focused on the positive. She has always lived her life with zest and is always the life of the party. My sister and I call her “The Queen” as she rules our family and her grandsons with love, laughter, support, and the ever-present chicken soup with matzah balls. She enhances the life of everyone that she meets and our family and community is better because she has been in our lives. We love you Omi!
